On Thursday, Detroit jazz club and cocktail lounge Wills Show Bar celebrated its 1-year anniversary since reopening. Originally opened in 1949, the once thriving jazz club was padlocked in 1978 during a crackdown on crime in the Cass Corridor. It reopened last spring under new ownership, who have restored the stylish lounge to its former glory. Readers voted the bar as the Best New Bar (Detroit) in our Best of Detroit poll.
