The Michigan Renaissance Festival is back. Founded in 1979, the event is a favorite of history buffs, fantasy fans, and cosplayers who are drawn to the fictional village of Hollygrove, populating it with all sorts of characters and creatures. We attended during a themed “Vikings Invasion” weekend — here’s everything we saw.
