If your 2023 bingo card did not include a second Michigan-Ohio war, you’re not alone.

A billboard in downtown Detroit promoting travel to Ohio with the slogan “Ohio: The heart of it all” went viral over the weekend, leaving Michiganders confused and Ohioans defensive. Also, for some reason, they really want Michigan to take Toledo back. Too late, guys. Too late.

Here are some of the funniest jokes cracked over the weekend — and if you’re an Ohioan reading this, you can keep Toledo.
