Fresh off of headlining the Coachella festival, pop-punk kings Blink-182 are embarking on a world tour with their classic lineup of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker. The band, which formed in Poway, California in 1992, seems newly reinvigorated following Hoppus’s successful cancer treatment and DeLonge’s hiatus from the band starting in 2015, with the guys cracking jokes on stage and seemingly finding joy in playing the songs that defined an era of punk rock and catapulted them to MTV fame in the late ’90s and early 2000s.
The tour stopped by Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday, with Beauty School Dropout and Turnstile also on the bill.
