SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 21-Dec. 20): You didn’t think this would turn out as well as it has, but, things started walking and talking about a month ago and you are wondering where to take it from here. This is no time to overextend yourself financially, or emotionally. Too much is in a state of flux for you to go too far afield. If in the short term you are able to consolidate what is already in place, in six months you will be glad that you decided to wait and see. Pressure to outdo yourself has you wondering why enough is never enough. Give yourself space and time to get in touch with what matters most.

Eldorado General Store • • 1700 Michigan Ave., Detroit; 313-784-9220; eldoradogeneralstore.com • Erin Gavle has received her fair share of press, but take a step inside Corktown’s Eldorado General Store and you’ll see what has bloggers and major news outlets alike entranced. She sells a host of goods, from vintage to brand new, and stocks goods that would delight both guys and gals. Her collection of jewelry is to die for, as are her stock of tarot cards, candles, and vintage sweaters. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 21-Dec. 20): You could be totally fed up, wondering where your life went. The desire to escape is strong. Going back to the source would help. That could mean many things. A retreat? A trip to the ocean? A vision quest, totally out of time? Give yourself permission to get off the boat long enough to find your way, or find a reason to keep going. Family stuff is bound to be up. There are issues that haven’t been settled that will require more patience and time on your part. If you feel a little restless, within a certain amount of surface calm, everything is on tenterhooks.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 21-Dec. 20): You can’t make your influence felt in this situation. As much as you know what’s best and as hard as it is to detach, getting too involved will only make it harder for everyone to figure out for themselves what they want out of this. You mean well but you’re up against a belief system that will not allow those you wish to support to let go of their pictures of duty and honor, or whatever it is that they’re stuck on. Sometimes things need to be accepted for what they are. Cross your fingers, do what you can to take care of yourself, and let others hash things out for themselves.

Friday, 11/18 The Fray @ The Fillmore Don’t lie to yourself: Every red-blooded American can identify at least three songs by the Fray: “How to Save a Life,” “Over My Head,” and “You Found Me.” Their fourth album, Helios, was released in 2014, and it was pretty impressive. They’ve been darlings for 96.3 WDVD since 2005, so it’s no surprise the “Everything but the rap” radio station is sponsoring the show. They’ll be joined by American Authors, who gained a considerable amount of airtime with their insatiably catchy pop hit, “Best Day of My Life.” The show starts at 7 p.m.; 2115 Woodward Ave., Detroit; thefillmoredetroit.com; Tickets are $15 - $65.
