Horoscopes (March 22-28)

By Metro Times editorial staff

PISCES (Feb. 21-March 20): For many of you, the issue of “what will people think?” has taught you that it really doesn’t matter. For others, you could still be wondering if you need to be concerned about everyone else’s opinion. So much is being redefined, how do you expect it to change without blowing a few minds? It would be great if you could lose the need to be OK with everyone. Forget about what all of this says about you and find a way to relate to it without needing to apologize or explain yourself. If this is how you really feel don’t be afraid to tell it like it is.

PISCES (Feb. 21-March 20): You are about to find out how important it is to expect the unexpected. If you’re already on the roller coaster, you’ve had enough uncertainty to last you a lifetime. For many of you, it’s totally OK to not know what’ll happen next because you were itching for a change and ready for something to come along and blow you away. For others, the feeling that you’re out of control is making it harder to go with the flow. No matter who you are, change is the operative word and the need for control needs to be exchanged for a willingness to let nature take its course.

PISCES (Feb. 21-March 20): How are you going to get from A to B? This situation is totally different than anything you’ve had to deal with before. The old methods don’t apply. Others are not going to understand this. For the next few weeks you may find yourself negotiating with people who refuse to go along with you. The fact that they could prevent you from implementing your plan should be enough to show you that you need to approach them strategically. If you’re smart, and are able to do this with love, before you know it, you will be on the same page and well on your way to the next thing.

SuperDre If you're looking for a unique spin on techno, SuperDre will deliver with her tried and true blend of minimal tech, electro, retro, and deep house. A pioneer in her own right, SuperDre was instrumental in reviving the electronic scene in Grand Rapids, holding down a weekly at the popular club Billy's for years. Classically trained, she's a band nerd at heart with a major in music business and has no shortage of accomplishments. From producer, actress, and all-around hustler, SupreDre is a true force to be reckoned with. She was voted the area's DJ of the Year in 2009 and top 10 most influential out of the region. Oh yeah, and she really knows how to fill a dance floor. Splitting her time between touring the world and building an empire, SupreDre is one of the hardest-working DJs you'll meet. Detroit, her second home, has always been a source of inspiration and she's certainly no stranger to the scene. She cites influences like Cybotron, Missy Elliott, Magda, Loco Dice, Daft Punk, and Claude VonStroke. And all of that should give a decent indication of what to expect from a SuperDre set. — Rai Skotarczyk SuperDre plays the Polish Village Café on Friday, March 3 at 11:30 p.m.; 2990 Yemans St, Hamtramck; Soundcloud.

PISCES (Feb. 21-March 20): This is no time to play games. You’ve got a fish on the line and you need to figure out what you want. Nothing prepared you for this moment. There is no map to this territory. Leave your preconceived notions at the dock, because they won’t work here. For some of you there are admirers who have come along to shake up your well ordered routine. This is always the way it goes. Do your best to enjoy the chaos and let the truth about whoever is there for you show you who they are. There’s a good chance they are who they claim to be, but give them time.
