Detroit-based models that you should be following right now

Detroit may not be the next Paris or Milan, but that doesn't mean that the Motor City doesn't have talent that's ready…

By Metro Times editorial staff

N’dea Berry @neda.c.berry How old are you?: I'm 20 years old. Where are you from? I'm from Inkster, MI. How long have you been modeling for? I've been modeling for a little less than a year. It'll be a full year in April! What are your goals, or what has been your biggest modeling achievement thus far? My goals as a model have just become a little more aligned for me. I spend the majority of my time in the field experimenting, getting my feet wet and learning which types of modeling I enjoy the most. I've declared that I'll focus on fashion, beauty, and editorial to satisfy the creative artist within me. In the end, I want to be published in a spread in a fashion magazine. I want high fashion and eye-catching work. I would also love to be the face of one of my favorite make-up brands. My biggest achievement as a model thus far is being published on RevoltTV and Blavity in a collaboration/advertisement for the brand DSE Detroit by James Charles Morris with is "Respect Her/Respect Him" campaign. Also generally, I'm proud of how much I've grown and learned from the people I've met and worked with since the short time I've been a part of the art scene here in the city. Photo by @benzo_be
