It seems lots of folks around town had strange, stressful weeks. Even our favorite radio host was expressing disbelief that the week wasn't over yet--on Thursday morning! It happens every now and then to all of us, though some might attribute this particular week's weirdness to the current Full Moon.
Though others will say that's just silly superstition.
Superstition or not, today, Friday the 13th, isn't just a Full Moon, and a potentially unlucky day (for those who might have triskaidekaphobia). According to the Free Press, it's a fantastic day to win the lottery.
The Freep reports:
While some people might spend the day trying to avoid walking under a ladder or breaking mirrors, Friday the 13th has historically been a lucky day for Michigan Lottery Mega Millions Players. Twelve lottery players have won more than $29.5 million in big prizes over the past five years.
There you go. Pull up your big kid pants, bravely go to your local lotto retailer, and try your luck on this unluckiest of days. Afterall, the full moon-Friday the 13th pairing won't happen again until August 13, 2049.
