Wayne County Executive Warren Evans will host four community meetings in the coming weeks to discuss the county's fiscal challenges.
In each meeting, residents will have the opportunity to pepper Evans with questions, a statement from the county said. Since taking office earlier this year, Evans has implemented a series of cost cutting measures to address the county's budget deficit. Some observers have suggested Wayne County could be the first to receive an emergency manager by Gov. Rick Snyder. Last month, Evans ordered a spending and hiring freeze.
To attend any of the following meetings, residents are asked to RSPV at [email protected].
