Teaming up with NYA Catering, the ice cream creators will be serving up a special horror movie-themed "Murder Dinner" on June 13. The five-course meal will be designed by the catering company's executive chef Ruben Griffin.
The two-seating, one-night-only event will begin with The Exorcist split pea soup, then a Fatal Attraction rabbit roulade, followed by a Jaws Mako shark, then a Silence of the Lambs seared lamb loin, and ending
with Treat Dreams' The Shining redrum ice cream. However, noticeably missing is a course honoring the Jason Voorhees franchise.
While non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at Treat Dreams, guests are also invited to bring their own booze, if an alcoholic beverage is desired with dinner.
Tickets to the dinner are $65 and are available online at www.nyacatering.com/murder-dinner. Seatings are at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
