Tour the Guardian and Fisher Buildings tomorrow for free

This and every Saturday metro Detroiters are welcome to visit the Guardian and Fisher Buildings for a free tour courtesy of Pure Detroit. The tours are led by an experienced guide named Michael Boettcher.

We've spoken with Boettcher for a story on the Guardian Building and found him to be astute and knowledgable, filled with interesting facts that you won't find by pouring over books in the Burton Historical Collection at the Detroit Public Library.

Boettcher leads tours at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and returns again at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. for a tour of Detroit's skyscrapers, in downtown and on lower Woodward respectively.

Spend the day learning about Detroit's rich architectural history or just an hour on a single tour, either way it's free. Check Pure Detroit's website for more info.
