The Seaquest

The Seaquest — Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos' 163-foot, $40 million yacht — was untied and set adrift while docked at a marina in northern Ohio over the weekend

The Toledo Blade reports that the captain of the Seaquest contacted police around 6 a.m. Sunday morning after discovering that the yacht had been untied from its location at the Huron Boat Basin. Before crews were able to wrangle the lavish vessel, the Seaquest struck a dock, resulting in an estimated $5,000 to $10,000 in damage.

It is unclear as to why the yacht was in Ohio. Officers are reportedly rifling through surveillance footage to help their aid in their search.

Cruella DeVos and her Amway heir husband have a reported net worth of $1.3 billion, making the Michigan U.S. Secretary one of the wealthiest members of President Trump's cabinet.

$10,000 could supply a Detroit Public School Community District school with 125 new textbooks, or 33 new desktop computers. We don't need to tell you what $40 million could do for the ailing district.
