Now that Thanksgiving has passed, everyone can turn their attention to pressing matters, like, what's the better classic Christmas-centric movie: "Christmas Vacation" or "A Christmas Story."

If you dig Chevy Chase's inability to light a house with a billion Christmas lights for the better part of an hour-and-a-half, the Redford Theatre plans to show the National Lampoon's 1989 classic "Christmas Vacation" on Dec. 5 at 8 p.m, and on Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

You can buy tickets online for $5 in advance here. As always, prior to the movie, attendees can enjoy a 30-minute concert on the Redford's three-manual, ten-rank pipe organ performed by an in-house player.

The beautifully restored Redford, located at 17360 Lahser Road in Detroit, has been in use since 1928. MT's Alysa Offman covered the story of the theater's history earlier this year.
