Last May, NeNe Leakes — known for her time on the Real Housewives of Atlanta — made headlines for saying she'd donate $20,000 to Detroit Public Schools.
That hasn't happened — and Leakes is tired of hearing about it. She appeared on a "Housewives" reunion show over the weekend. Host Andy Cohen lobbed her a question from a fan, who asked: Are you ever going to donate $20,000 to Detroit Public Schools?
Leakes wasn't excited about the inquiry.
"Oh child, please quit asking me that. I'm so over it, I don't care what these people ask you. I will do what I want to do when I want to do it okay? Let's be very clear about that. They can tweet and ask you anything they want. I do what I want to do. I'm not going to be forced to do anything."
"Who writes a check and posts it on social media and tries to say, 'I'm donating to charity.' People donate in private and confidence."
