Multiple reports floating about say the $2.1 billion New International Trade Crossing between the U.S. and Canada will be named after Detroit Red Wings legend Gordie Howe, a popular guy here in the city and across the pond.
Howe suffered a stroke last fall, countered in response by a controversial stem cell treatment. After he received the treatment, according to the Freep, Howe sat up and demanded in "an astonishingly strong voice that he needed to use the restroom."
