Michigan brewer crafts beer with candy hearts in honor of Valentine's Day

Looking for a sudsy way to spend this Valentine's Day? Short's Brewing Company's Be Mine is available today at the brewer's Bellaire taproom. The beer is made with those little candy conversation hearts synonymous with this ~~Hallmark~~ holiday.

The brew's description reads, "Be Mine is a Belgian-style Tripel brewed with candy hearts and Belgian candi syrup. Light copper in color with a thick white head, this beer has aromas of clove, banana, and bubblegum. Well balanced Belgian esters work harmoniously together with a touch of floral hoppiness and some citrus notes. Be Mine finishes dry."

Finishes dry, like your last relationship.

Note: Don't go looking for Be Mine in stores, friends. This sweet little number is only available in the brewery's taproom located at 121 N. Bridge St. in Bellaire.
