Watts Club Mozambique, a longstanding west side male strip club, has burned beyond repair this morning, The Detroit News reports.
Crews arrived at 6 a.m. to battle the flames. At this time, it is unknown what caused the fire. There are no reported injuries.
According to the News, many nearby hydrants were out-of-service. Unfortunately, this is far from an isolated incident in Detroit. Recently, Motor City Muckraker has been documenting the city's out-of-service hydrants, releasing a list of 18 notable buildings in the city without properly working hydrants.
