Ex-mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's youngest son has dropped a new rap song and video as part of a web campaign fighting for the ex-mayor's release from prison.

"It's too much time/ there was no crime ... 28 year injustice/ black fathers sit in cells while their family out on crutches/ rig the system/ and they wonder why we holdin' grudges," Jonas Kilpatrick, AKA JoJo tha Doughboi, raps while standing in front of the U.S. Supreme court clad in a #freekwame shirt.

The video comes days after the discovery of the Free Kwame Project website, which argues the ex-mayor was "over-charged and over-sentenced" when he was given 28 years behind bars for racketeering.
