The folks at World Life Expectancy have compiled detailed stats on the life expectancy and causes of death of people in every state and country across the globe.

They are pretty interesting to peruse.

In Michigan, they peg our average life expectancy at 77.89 years, which is .72 years less than the national average.

Broken up by gender, Michigan men on average live to 75.32, which is just .64 years below the national numbers. Michigan women, clock in at 80.037 on average, while the national numbers give women 81.17 years.

We know of at least one Michigander who has totally blown these stats out of the water.

Take a look through the massive data archive for yourself.
