Bert Blyleven, guy with interesting name and former Major League Baseball pitcher, upset Detroiters on Thursday when he sent a rambling tweet about his feelings on downtown Detroit.

Blyleven, who currently works as the Minnesota Twins' color commentator, offered his remarks during during a rain delay at this afternoon's ballgame between the Twins and Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.

Heh, well. Blyleven's remarks weren't exactly well-received. Still, Bert didn't seem to mind the uproar.

(If you have visited download Detroit, please inquire within.) Of course, that immediately set off another firestorm of remarks, with one person saying: "I guess you haven't seen how ugly your personality is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

Anyway, Blyleven's Twins have scored a total of zero runs in their first two games against the Tigers. So, really: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
