Detroit Dog Rescue, Atomic Dawg, and the Sausage Emporium are teaming up for a deliciously adorable event tomorrow. Eat a Dawg, Save a Dog is a dog adoption drive that will take place tomorrow at Atomic Dawg in Berkley.

The gourmet hot dog restaurant will have some of Detroit Dog Rescue's most eligible pups on hand, ready to be taken home by their new best friend.

The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. and adoption fees will be discounted by $50 during that time. Atomic Dawg will also be supporting DDR by donating 25 percent of its sales to the charity during that time.

Detroit Dog Rescue's mission is to create a "state-of-the-art no-kill animal center in Detroit." The focus on finding homes for stray, homeless, or forgotten city dogs.

Atomic Dawg is located at 2705 Coolidge Hwy, Berkley. For more info check out Detroit Dog Rescue's website or call 313-458-8014.
