Southwest Detroit is a great place for chicken, with dozens of terrific places serving up the bird. This morning, there's one more place to find chicken there: the freeway, thanks to a semi that crashed into the median.

According to WWJ, "A stretch of I-75 in southwest Detroit has been closed for hours as crews continue to clean up an early morning accident that sent boxes of frozen chicken wings scattered across the freeway."

Authorities say the crash cleanup has been delayed because crews had to offload some boxes of frozen chicken wings before the vehicle could be removed.

So it looks like there's a chance some lucky families will be having wings for dinner.
