PBS talk show host Tavis Smiley has brought his crew to Detroit this week to focus on city issues. On Monday he hosted journalists Curt Guyette (who you should recognize from the pages of MT) and Stephen Henderson of the Detroit Free Press. The two addressed the very real, yet very clichéd phenomenon of "two Detroits"; the problem with Gilbertville; and hope for the city — among other issues.
Watch the video below. During his week in Detroit, Smiley has also interviewed Mayor Mike Duggan and the DIA's Graham Beal.
