Will Green now lives in Portland, Maine but he performed his very first stand-up set at the old Club Bart in Ferndale. As a way to give back to the community that nurtured his talent in its incubation stage, he is offering his album, Fucking Feed People, for only two clams on his Bandcamp. Green approaches comedy as an outlet to share personal stories and absurdities with a dash of self-deprecation.
The great thing about this fundraiser is 100% of any money raised from the downloads will go to support Sundays in Cass Park. The project, spearheaded by Jim Rehberg, relies completely on volunteers to prepare and serve the meals. The events are open to anyone, which allows an environment in which those who are in need of nourishment and those looking to help the less fortunate to connect with no judgement.
The recording comes from a comedy show that took place in June of this year to raise funds for Sundays in Cass Park. Whether you like stand-up comedy or not, it's only two dollars and your donation will go to help a lot of hungry people.
