Chrysler high school auto design contest goes nationwide

Chrysler is asking high school car geeks grades 10 through 12 to peer into the future and design their idea for a 2025 Dodge vehicle in its third annual competition.

This year, the company has opened the contest to all U.S. high school students —previously, it was open only to Michigan students, and before that it was limited only to Detroiters. Prizes include a $60,000 scholarship to the College for Creative Studies, Apple Macbook computers, and tickets to Autorama. 

Entries must be no smaller than 8'' by 10” and no larger than 11” by 17” and hand-drawn on white paper using pencils, markers, or paint (that's right, kids, put your computers away). Students must also write a 500 word essay explaining "what Dodge means to you."
