The Parade Co. announced on their Facebook page this morning that angel on Earth Carmen Harlan and key-to-the-city-holder Big Sean will be the grand marshals for Detroit's Thanksgiving day parade.
This is the parade's 91st anniversary and an exciting time for both of these Detroiters to be the grand marshals. Harlan recently retired from WDIV after 38 years in the biz, while Big Sean's star continues to rise, especially in his home city of Detroit.
America's Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van will of course happen on this year's Thanksgiving day, November 23 and will trek down Woodward until it hits downtown. This year's parade theme is "Woodward! Avenue of Dreams!"
