Want to be on TV?
The folks from American Pickers are coming back to Michigan in search of treasures.
Producers for the hit History Channel reality TV show plan to be in the state in March looking for subjects.
“We’re looking for leads throughout the state, specifically interesting characters with fascinating items and lots of them!” a producer says via email. “The way we find people and collections for our show is through spreading the word far and wide so that people know we’re coming to town. We hope you can help us let your community know about our search!”
The producer adds, “Keep in mind, we are looking for different, unusual, and unique items — something we’ve never seen before with an extraordinary story!”
The show has made several visits to Michigan in recent years, most recently last summer.
American Pickers travels across the U.S. in search of rare items they buy from collectors. They’re only interested in private collections — not stores, malls, flea markets, museums, or businesses.
If you think you have what it takes, reach out to the producers at 646- 493-2184 or [email protected] and include your full name, city and state, contact information, and a brief description of your collection.
