Alberta Adams visitation and memorial tribute this evening; Funeral tomorrow

Bert's Market Place is hosting a memorial tribute to Detroit's own Queen of the Blues Alberta Adams this evening, starting at 6pm.

For those wishing to pay their respects more intimately, visitation will be held all day today at Swanson Funeral Home.

Those wishing to attend her funeral can do so tomorrow at 11am, at Bethel Baptist Church East.

Metro Times gives our deepest condolences to Alberta's family and friends, and to the Detroit music community for their loss. She was a blessing to Detroit. We were honored to know her.
