This week’s abandoned house may seem familiar because it ran last week with an incorrect address and other information in the print edition. It is actually at 2770 25th Street. The house, built in 1910, sits next to and across from vacant lots. A majority of windows have been broken, although none seem to be boarded up. A dilapidated fence guards the overgrown front yard, and the porch roof sags slightly under the weight of snow and ice. Debris inside the house is clearly visible through the windows, including what appears to be a rotting leather sofa in the front room. Orange graffiti on the porch and in the house itself warns “crack heads” to stay away. The owner of the house was unavailable for comment.
