Michigan winters can be rough on humans, but they're even harsher on outdoor pets. Without even realizing the danger they are placing their pets in, owners can unknowingly subject pets to sub-zero temperatures, freezing rain, snow, hail, and ice.
C.H.A.I.N.E.D. Inc. is a nonprofit 501c3 that offers free life-enhancing supplies and services to dogs that are left chained up outside. These supplies include insulated dog houses, straw, assistance to get dogs spayed or neutered, vaccines, heartworm prevention, treats, toys, and other resources.
