A celebration of a lot of the things that make life worth living, "Back in the Dungeon," which was just posted yesterday, is a video to jumpstart your brain if you're at all feeling in a rut. If you're not in a rut, then it'll take you to the next levels of happiness. It's hilarious and fun, and of course it's loud, too. Tim Lampinen of Timmy's Organism calls the video "three-headed monster rock!" in a press release we were sent via email.
The video was directed by Jesus Rivera, who says in the same email that the video "is a snotty, psychotronic, 12-sided dice roll of a fun time. I love VHS tapes, '80s heavy metal magazines, and '80s fantasy flicks. Also, I love the idea of using wizardry to transmit VHS feeds into a person's brain. Like, medieval virtual reality. We wanted to take all of those things and give it a punk rock mutant-damaged Timmy makeover. Keep it weird, keep it raw and entertaining. We filmed it all in a day-and-a-half with no crew."
