Normally we wouldn’t suggest dancing with the devil, but the mischievous musical stylings of the Theatre Bizarre Orchestra make it so tempting. The 13-piece outfit serves as the house band for its namesake event, “the greatest masquerade on Earth” — Detroit’s annual immersive, multi-sensory experience that possesses the Masonic Temple each October. When the Joshua James-led orchestra isn’t providing the soundscape to Theatre Bizarre’s “Fistatorium,” it's haunting metro Detroit with neo-vaudevillian debauchery. For the Loving Touch performance, TBO will be joined by cabaret artist and frequent collaborator, Satori Circus. Hail Zombo!

Theatre Bizarre Orchestra will perform with Satori Circus at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, at the Loving Touch; 22634 Woodward Ave., Ferndale; thelovingtouchferndale.com. Tickets are $10.
