This show was just announced and if you are a fan of alternative rock music from 25 years ago, you will be so stoked! Smashing Pumpkins and their old friend from Chicago 1990s times, Liz Phair, go out on the road together this summer, stopping at the Fillmore Detroit on April 1.

It's being called, get this, "In Plainsong: An Acoustic-Electro Evening." I guess it was too difficult to just call it "unplugged"? Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. Entrance is $45, $60, or $75, depending on how close you want to get.
