Well, this looks like fun: If you give some money to the Sidewalk Festival of the Performing Arts, you get to hop on a bus which will take you around to some very cool, exclusive performances. The event, dubbed the Sidewalk Progressive Arts Jam, calls itself "a progressive dinner tour of three Detroit art spaces and featuring some of the city’s best performers." There will be seven artists visited on the tour, and four performers. My Brightest Diamond, Jessica Care Moore, Jeedo, and Sterling Toles — each Kresge artist fellows — will perform for you, and you alone.

The tour begins at One Mile Art Collective with dinner provided by Guerrilla Food Detroit. The full meal includes organic and locally sourced food. Spacesvisited on this look inside the hive-mind of New Detroit include One Mile Collective, Talking Dolls, and the Live Coal Mobile. Tickets are going fast but a few are left at $50, and you can purchase them at sidewalkdetroit.com.
