Here's a reminder about a show that takes place in a week and a half from today, in case you need to get a sitter or make sure you have the right costume together (if not both). On October 30, Frijid Pink plays the Token Lounge.
Don’t miss this rare performance by one of the most legendary rock bands to come out of Detroit in the late '60s and early '70s. Frijid Pink is best known for their rendition of “House of the Rising Sun” which topped charts in 1969, but the Allen Park five-piece has been making hard-hitting psychedelic rock ever since. The new line-up, guided by original member Rick Stevers, will play tunes from the days of sharing the stage with MC5, the Stooges, and Led Zeppelin.

Starts at 9 p.m.; 28949 Joy Rd., Westland; 734-513-5030; thetokenlounge.com; tickets are $10; 18 and older.
