Known for a single megahit, “Wagon Wheel.” Old Crow Medicine Show is known for making real old-fashioned music in the modern age. Equipped with fiddles, harmonicas, stand-up bass, banjos, and seven sets of lungs for hootin’ and hollerin’, their sound is extreme in its authenticity, but delightful in its ambition to remain true to the history of bluegrass, folk, and Americana. Lightning fast banjo plucking and quick vocals are featured on Remedy, their ninth studio release. The album is true to old-timey fans, but may very well appeal to new fans of modern folk music.
