It’s been 9 hours and 754 days since Prince went away.

In the two years since his passing, the world agrees, nothing compares to Prince. But if someone were to be tasked with honoring the fallen icon, who better than one of his biggest admirers.

Enter, Questlove. The Roots drummer, co-frontman, and musical mastermind has curated, produced, and directed the first and only Prince estate-approved concert. Announced by Live Nation Urban & TCG Entertainment in partnership with The Prince Estate the "4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince" will reign on Sept. 28 at the Fox Theatre — where Prince performed his last Detroit show in April 2015.

Questlove has enlisted a hand-picked band to perform alongside a full symphony orchestra for a thoughtfully curated set that will span the hits and lesser-known jams. Along with the musical element, the estate has compiled never-before-seen footage for a stunning video presentation.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 18 and start at $29.50. Tickets can be purchased here.
