Tony D’Annunzio's celebrated, award-winning documentary on the history of Detroit's mythical Grande Ballroom venue in the late 1960s and early 1970s is finally available for sale as a DVD right here. There are also posters and t-shirts available for purchase from the same link. Metro Times has written about the film from its inception to its reception across the globe, and its recently being shown as part of an event for Wayne Kramer's Jail Guitar Doors which donated ten guitars to a Saginaw prison

Among the DVD extras? D'Annunzio says there are "Extra bonus stories. A Grande Ballroom light show. Home movies from Grande Ballroom MC Dave Miller."

The film will be broadcast on WTVS56 PBS Detroit on Fri., Dec. 18, from 8-10 p.m. MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer will be in the studio as part of that airing.
