Here's the latest video from rapidly rising Detroit rap star Big Sean. The tune is called "Hometown" and it's a single off of his upcoming album, Finally Famous, dropping May 3rd. The mere fact that the album has a release date is good news to folks that have already watched video after video from Big Sean and heard mixtape after mixtape with no major release to match all of the hype. Finally, Finally is set to drop this spring and this is the latest effort to whet fans' appetites until it hits the streets.

Given the song's title, it's clear that Sean is rapping about his "Hometown" of Detroit. You'll see some key footage from Downtown Detroit and the Cass Corridor plus shots from his sold out show at The Fillmore several months ago. He's naturally wearing a Red Wings hat as he shouts out spots around the city like Dexter and Joy Road or Chalmers and Jefferson. Repping Detroit may be trendy right now, but this doesn't feel like a gimmick. Check it out.
