Rev your engines, folks: Detroit rock city is about to get even rockier as Motor City Muscle announced its entertainment lineup this past week and it's pretty insane.
The free, three-day "Rock-n-Muscle Car Festival" will invade downtown Detroit from Friday, Aug. 17 through Sunday, Aug. 19 — just in time for the Woodward Dream Cruise. The festival will have more than 100 performances across seven stages throughout Hart Plaza and Campus Martius Park, including sets by the Dead Kennedys, Iceage, Belinda Carslile, and KISS founder and guitarist Ace Frehley.
Of course, it wouldn't be Motor City Muscle without some local artists to fill the bill: Among them are Death, the Gories, Ancient Language, Mexican Knives, Tart, Craig Brown Band, and Metro Times cover girl and weed queen, Jena Irene Asciutto.
If you're feeling fancy, VIP tickets have been made available for $150 and include main stage seating and access to catering tents, cell phone charging stations, and "executive restrooms."
The full schedule is available at the event's official website.
