Perhaps Southfield, Michigan's most popular music export of all time, Mike Posner, had a banner 2010. He not only became a household name among listeners of pop radio all across the country (a huge accomplishment) but he also closed out the year by performing on Dick Clark's annual New Year's Eve show live.
Now that we're in a new year, Posner isn't slowing down at all. He's hosting DJ GQ's solid new Juice mixtape series that just came out. Considering that GQ is a well known radio host and one of the better mixtape DJ veterans in the country, this is a good fit. Posner contributes several tracks including "Single and Drunk" that all fit in line with the theme of the mixtape, upbeat pop.
