According to a report in the Freep, legendary local club the Magic Stick will cease hosting rock bands in the spring:

"It was a matter of surviving," [David] Zainea said of the move to electronic dance music, quietly in the works for more than a year... Rock bookings will move to the adjacent Majestic Theatre — a 1,000-capacity room that can be curtained down to space for 300 — and the Majestic Cafe, which is big enough to accommodate the 250-person average attendance of recent Stick shows, Zainea said. Those spaces will also undergo some renovation work, Zainea said.
