After 45 years in the Southern rock business, Lynyrd Skynyrd announced this morning that their final tour, The Last of the Street Survivors, will kick off on May 4 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will roll through DTE Energy Music Theatre on Aug. 10.
Best known for their infectious 1974 hit "Sweet Home Alabama," Lynyrd Skynyrd is calling upon some famous friends along the way. Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker Band, and, unsurprisingly, Kid Rock are among some of the special guests to appear on tour.
We're excited to announce our Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour! Presales start 1/30 at 10am local time.
