Identity Festival To Sell $20 Tickets For 20 Hours

The Identity Festival, a new traveling festival comprised of entirely electronic music will make a stop at DTE Energy Music Theater on August 12th. The acts change city to city, but coming to the Clarkston incarnation will be Kaskade, the Crystal Method, the Disco Biscuits, DJ Shadow Steve Aoki, and DJ White Shadow among a dozen or so others.

DJ White Shadow aka Paul Blair, who grew up in Warren, recently collaborated with Lady Gaga to produce her latest album "Born This Way."  According to his website he " grew up on a farm in Ohio, but spent his school years in and around Detroit. He began DJing at 17 years old in Japan. "  Hour Detroit recently profiled Blair in their  July issue, where he told them while working at Little Caesars that "we used to listen to the Electrifying Mojo and pour pizza oil on the floor and have dance-offs.” You can read the full profile on Blair here.
