Dearborn's Jazz on the Avenue series starts tomorrow night

Pack up the lawn chairs and a picnic blanket: Jazz will emanate from Dearborn's City Hall Park tomorrow evening, as the municipality's Jazz on the Avenue series kicks off for the summer. Every Wednesday night starting at 7 p.m. a different artist will be featured inside the park. The series begins with renowned jazz flutist Alexander Zonjic.

Upcoming artists will include Marc Antoine and Brian Simpson, Jessy J, 496 West and Dee Brown, and Charles and Gwen Scales.

In addition to the free tunes, local restaurants will set up booths at the park, selling a diverse array of ethnic cuisines.

Dearborn City Hall Park is located at 13615 Michigan Ave., Dearborn.
