Downtown Pontiac’s Crofoot Ballroom is hosting another epic Creepy Cheapy bash Friday night, this time featuring a spooky yuletide theme, with live, costumed cover bands paying tribute to big-name musical artists of yesterday and today.
Acts scheduled to perform Friday include Final Confession as Avenged Sevenfold, Get Tuff as Chappell Roan, and Dirty Tuna as Rage Against the Machine.
This fun, festive event aims to “spread terror and joy all across the land,” says Crofoot marketing coordinator Ryan St. Onge. “It’s like Halloween, but with Santa and some undead reindeer.”
For the event’s second anniversary, Creepy Cheapy will feature live music across three stages, with a handful of holiday songs sprinkled in as if arranged and performed by legendary artists. Along with all the music, guests can enjoy free holiday candy, delicious yuletide treats, and plenty of Creepy Cheapy hijinks.
“Guests are encouraged to be creative and wear their own budget-friendly costumes,” St. Onge says.
Creepy Cheapy will also feature creepy-cheapy drinks, a suspicious Santa, and the Christmas Cookie Eating Contest of Doom, as well as more holiday-themed surprises and prizes, including a one-year membership to the Jelly of the Month Club.Creepy Cheapy takes place Friday, Dec. 13 at the Crofoot Complex in Pontiac. Doors at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15. For details, visit creepycheapy.com.
