Do you hear that crazy bastard’s mouth? Crazy bastard comes out of the side of his neck with some of the most vile rhetoric in music these days – and calls it music. Bastard’s got to be hip hop’s answer to Marilyn Manson.
One listen to his latest album, N***a Please, and you have evidence that this bastard is a sick man. How does anyone rate an album like this? It’s like judging Blowfly. You either like silly bastards on the mic, or you don’t. You either get a kick out of bastards who appear to be at a total loss of morals or values, or they disgust you.
Silly bastard. Gotta admit, though, his beats are well above average. And that remake of Rick James’ "Cold Blooded" is hilarious. Bastard actually shows some focus on that song. What’s interesting are the moments where that dirty bastard comments on personal vices such as cocaine use and his run-ins with the law ("You ain’t shaggy no more, D.A."). Those types of snap-references pop up just as the bastard’s drivel starts to get monotonous. Then, before you know it, bastard’s got your attention again. It’s like a case study in certain insanity the way he taunts the same authorities he’s had trouble with over the last three years.
This guy is one unpredictable bastard. But that’s obviously the plan, to keep you off balance by saying whatever comes to mind. For instance, what does this line mean? "You can’t use the family feud! You can’t run it on the coo-coooo."
Remember, you can tell a person’s character by the things they find amusing. God, I’m guilty.
