From the outside, Bailey’s Pub ’N’ Grille may look like your run-of-the-mill bar — and, once you get inside, you’ll be glad to discover that it still has some strong remnants of the workaday watering hole. For anyone who’s sick of the growing trend of having to dress up just to have a cocktail only to be herded in like some high-priced cattle, this local pub will get you back to basics. With no cover charge and a lot of open space, Bailey’s offers three large rooms full of the simple and sometimes forgotten temptations of pool, darts, shuffleboard, cigars and video games. The 32 televisions will quench the sport freak’s thirsts and the music selection will suit almost any taste. Libations include 36 tap beers and 120 bottled brews that can make even the most high-class beer snob s mouth water, and the liquor selection ranges from well to top shelf. The bar is open from 11-2 a.m. seven days a week and serves a reasonably priced menu of above-average food until last call every night. Suburban living isn’t all bad.
