The Detroit Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a series of neighborhood shows, getting out and about in the Metro Detroit suburbs.

According to the website, “DSO Principal Horn Karl Pituch performs Mozart's delightful Fourth Horn Concerto while Hans Graf leads favorites by Carl Maria von Weber and Schumann's stirring Second Symphony Robert Schumann was as famous in his time as a critic and writer as he was as a composer. He founded the Neue Zeitschrift fur Musik (New Magazine of Music), which is still published today.”
The first show will be in Southfield on January 26, then Dearborn on the 27th, Beverly Hills on the 29th, Bloomfield Township on February 2, Bloomfield Hills on the 4th and Grosse Pointe on the 5th. Prices start at $25. Keep an eye on the DSO website for further info and more performances.
