I’m not going to lie – I quite like the Insane Clown Posse’s When I’m Clownin’ (Psychopathic), not least because Danny Brown puts in a stellar guest performance. I don’t know if five different mixes of the same track are totally necessary, but I guess some people like that kind of thing. The track is catchy though, with some chunky guitar on there, plus Brown. Let’s face it, anything Danny touches turns to gold right now.

3FT’s self-titled debut album (Naïve Sound) is awesome – a fuzzed out beast of a record that in turns recalls Sonic Youth, Kyuss, Dinosaur Jr. and the Stooges, with splashes of gritty Detroit R&B thrown around with funky abandon. The tunes are there, even if there buried a little. It’s totally worth the effort. Dark but not without optimism, 3FT offer a modern take on ’90s art-rock.
